Welcome to Ms. Wagner's Teacher Page
Hello! My name is Ms. Wagner and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I love being in nature, hiking and cooking for others. This is my fifth year teaching within a Special Day Class. Previously I was a Resource Specialist within the Elementary setting for a total of four years.
Students and Parents inspire me! I sincerely love kids and enjoy teaching and guiding students. I am aware of the positive and supportive impact teachers can have on the lives of students. As students enter school, they are turned over to the care of their teacher for most of the day. I am a supporter of home-school communication. I like to discuss your child, what’s happening in our classroom, ways you can support your child’s learning at home, and ways that I can extend your home culture to school.
I graduated from University of Western Ontario, Canada with an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology. I love learning and teaching about different cultures and enjoy cultural diversity within the classroom. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at New College of California. I earned my Special Education Teaching Credential and another Master’s degree in Learning and Instruction of Special Education at the University of San Francisco.
