hello everybody and thank you for joining me today I'm going to read you a very classic book A book that you've heard many times it is called The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle we were quite a few Eric Carle stories we've read the very clumsy click Beetle the very quiet cricket Papa please get me the moon I enjoyed Eric Carle let's read this very fluffy check it out The Very Hungry Caterpillar in the light of the Moon a little egg lay on a leaf and is this. The moon has a face on it just like when's Sunday morning the warm sun came up in tiny and very hungry you started to look for some food on Monday he ate through one app on Tuesday he ate fruit but he was still hungry on Wednesday through three plums but he was still hungry and the holes are where he's eating through the food the fruit on Thursday he ate through for strawberries but he was still hungry on Friday he ate through five oranges on Saturday he ate through one chocolate cake ice cream cone one slice of Swiss cheese how do you think he's going to steal feel if you ate all of that I think he's going to feel too good you might get sick let's find out that night he had us he didn't feel good this is everything he ate one day get all that one day you're a great picture of his face Edith the next day was Sunday again the caterpillar ate through one night he felt much better now he wasn't hungry anymore and he was not a little caterpillar anymore he was a big fat caterpillar you don't the small house called a cocoon around himself he stayed inside for more than 2 weeks sometimes it's called a chrysalis he pushed his way out and he was a beautiful butterfly I like that story what did you think about that story did you like it in the beginning what happened and in the middle what happened and he turned into a sweat induced cocoon and then what happened at the end of the story do a butterfly it's important to remember the beginning the middle and the end of stories today for your riding lesson I would like you all to tell me about what was your favorite thing that he ate was it's a was it the cupcake was it the ice cream was it the oranges tell me what your favorite thing was that he ate and then you tell me why tell me why you picked the salsa tell me why you pick the strawberries tell me why you pick the ice cream cuz I would like to know so take your time little hole in it like a caterpillar ate it like a drawing of the whole and pick your favorite thing to watch the video game if you need to remember all the things and then tell me why you pick that maybe I would enjoy your writing
