Welcome to Ms. Bucedi's Teacher Page
I grew up in San Lorenzo and graduated from Arroyo High School. I have always enjoyed learning new things and reading lots of books. Sharing information with students and watching them grow in their education keeps my heart happy.
"Let us remember; one book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.” -Malala Yousafzai
I attended Chabot Junior College and then California State University, Hayward (now CSU East Bay), where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. I attended Holy Names College in Oakland (now Holy Names University), where I completed my Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I also completed my credential work (multiple subject and education specialist) at Holy Names.
District Tools I Use
I take attendance using Aeries. You can stay on top of attendance through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App
I use Aeries to generate report cards. Families can view report cards through the Aeries Family Portal.
I use Google Classroom to manage some assignments. Students can access their account from the home computer and you can see what they are doing as well as provide support on these assignments.
Other Tools I Use
Class Dojo: I use Class Dojo for positive reinforcement and another way to communicate with parents. I send invitations out in the beginning of the year for families to join. You can track the positive points your student receive and see posted pictures of the exciting things we do in class. Families can comment on these postings and also message me directly.
Read & Write for Google Chrome: We use this extension within Google to provide access to information that is difficult to read. Students can also access this at home through their google student account.
