Cordially invite all Room 16 Students and Families to attend our last classroom Zoom meeting on Friday, May 28th at 10:00 am.  We will recognize each Kindergarten student as they move on to First Grade!  We will also recognize the TK students as a group as they move onto Kindergarten!

I will be presenting your Kindergarten certificate virtually.  Please feel free to make it a fancy occasion.  I will have my tie and shirt on!

This morning I have a meeting where I hope to gain greater clarification on the date and time when we will be passing out the student’s work.  I will post the information in Friday's daily blog.  As we get closer to the date, I will be sending out an email to families explaining how we will be handling end of year procedures in greater detail. 

Two videos today.  Our last addition practice video, where I increased the difficulty slightly.  After watching the video, please complete the 5 addition story problems below.  Make sure you show your work by drawing the circles, and joining them together.  The story today is a class favorite, ‘Pete the Cat and the Five Little Ducks’ by James Dean.  Make sure you watch to the end for the daily writing prompt!

Today is Thursday!  Before distance learning began, the class would always visit Mrs. Stevenson in the Corvallis Library on this day.  Why don’t you check out her Corvallis Library webpage, and listen to a story she has read.  It will be just like when we were at school.  You can find a link to her library page under the Resource Topic in the Google Classroom. 

Today is also the day Mo Willems adds a video to his Thankful Thursday YouTube series.  I wonder who he is thanking today?  Episode 4 will be his most recent episode posted today.  A link is provided in the Google Classroom.
