Monday, May 25, is a school holiday in observance of Memorial Day.  I will not be posting on this day, but will resume with an unit focusing on addition starting Tuesday, May 26.

 

I have a special link for you today discovered by Mrs. Penaranda.  Author and Illustrator Mo Willems has started another YouTube series titled, 'Thank You Thursdays by Mo Willems'.  Check out the link on this page, or the Google Classroom, where I have all 5 videos organized in an easy to use format.  Look for, 'Mo Willems-Thank You Thursdays', under the Recourses topic.

 

Two videos today as we continue with our Friday Second Step videos.  Today we discuss fair ways to play.  We learn important strategies that we can use at school and at home.  No story today, as I will be reading a story during our Zoom meeting.  I encourage you to check out one of the stories I recently uploaded under the SLZUSD Story Time topic in the Google Classroom.

2. watch the Second Step videos and ask how you can help a family member today

3. watch a story under the SLZUSD Story Time topic in the Google classroom

4. check out the link, 'Thank You Thursdays with Mo Willems', and join in with the activities

5. spend some time with the Happy Numbers math program, or your Math Workbook

6. spend some time with the Raz-Kids reading program

7. make sure to create and play
