Hello Room 16 Students and Families!

I wanted to follow up on what Mr. Dunn-Ruiz said yesterday during our Corvallis morning assembly.  As soon as I receive information on when you can visit the school to pick up your children's projects, I will let you know.  At this time, our last classroom Zoom meeting is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 29.  I would like to do something special for the Kindergarten students moving onto First Grade on this day.  The last day of school is quickly approaching on Tuesday, June 9.

Two videos today.  Our lesson today is much like the one I posted about a month ago.  That lesson involved making a number line.  For today's lesson, students will write, cut, sort, and glue letters in the correct alphabet order.  You can do this lesson with both upper and lower case letters.  Today's story is a student favorite, 'Clifford, The Firehouse Dog'.  Mae sure you watch to the end of the video for the daily writing prompt.

Today's Goals

1. watch the lesson, and make your own alphabet line
2. watch the story, and complete the daily writing prompt
3. spend some time with the Raz-Kids reading program
4. spend some time with the Happy Numbers math program (remember, it is recommended you spend a total of 45 minutes a week with this program)
5. spend time playing and creating

Hope you all have a nice day!
-Mr. Auad
