Hello Room 16 Students and Families!

Thank You again for your patience yesterday with our Zoom meeting.  It looks like Zoom was having trouble right around the time we were all trying to log in.  I was so happy with the turnout we had for the meeting, and I hope to repeat that again Friday.  Please check your email later today for Friday's Zoom meeting information.  Also, good news, I learned how to make the password for the Zoom meetings easier.  So please take note of that.

I hope you all enjoyed our first dinosaur lesson yesterday, and I hope to see the Brontosaurus' you drew!  Today we learn about the Stegosaurus

To those of you completing the Raz-Kids reading program, did you know you can change the difficulty level of the books you are reading?  After clicking on the Reading Room rocket, click on the circle at the top of the screen the says, 'Leveled Books'.  From there you can select level A and B books.  Don't forget to answer the comprehension questions when finished reading.

Three videos today.  Two videos about the Stegosaurus, and our daily story.  Today, I picked the classic, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle.

Today's Goals

1. watch and learn about the Stegosaurus
2. watch the 'How To Draw' video on the Stegosaurus, and practice drawing the dinosaur.
3. watch the story, and complete the writing prompt
4. spend some time on the Raz-Kids reading program, consider raising the difficulty level if the books are too easy
5. spend some time on the Happy Numbers program
6. complete a Go Noodle exercise program.

Wishing you all a nice day!
-Mr. Auad
