Hello Room 16 Students and Families!

Thanks to all of you for joining me in our class ZOOM get together yesterday.  It was nice to see all of you!  We have another meeting coming up this Friday, April 10 at 10:00 am.  I would like to hold 2 meetings a week.  I was excited to try a short lesson, and appreciated the students participation and patience as we become increasingly comfortable with this new way of learning.  Here are some tips for a successful ZOOM class meeting:

  1. Find a comfortable place to sit, like a kitchen table, or computer desk.
  2. Make sure your audio and video are working.
  3. I encourage you to participate, raise your hand and share your thoughts and ideas.
Thank you to all the parents sending pictures of your children's work.  I really do appreciate seeing what they are working on!

Two video posts today and a link too today's Corvallis Morning Assembly.  I have a new story that I will hope the students will enjoy; "Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me" by Eric Carle.  The second video is the third video of the game, "What Picture is Next".  Can you guess what the spelling pattern is in this lesson?  Remember to check out my fellow Kindergarten teachers' webpages for additional ideas.

Please do not forget to check your email for the information on how to join our next ZOOM meeting.

Have a nice Thursday!
