ATTENDANCE
You must call the office (317-4999) or send a written note each time your child is absent, tardy, or you desire early dismissal. If you would like homework for your sick child, please call the school office before noon so that the work can be ready for pick-up in the office by 3:15 p.m. Only illness of the child, attending a medical/dental appointment or attendance at a funeral is considered an excused absence. All other absences are considered unexcused and make result in a truancy notification.
TARDIES
Students are expected to be in class on time. Punctuality is a life-long skill which is stressed at Corvallis School. Parents will be contacted when a student is repeatedly late. A tardy in excess of 30 minutes is considered a truancy tardy and will result in parent notification of the truancy. If the tardies continue, a referral to the District Attendance Office will be made.
