Important End of School Year Information

May 29, 2020

Corvallis Families,

Today marks the last day of instruction for the 2019-2020. I want to appreciate all of the families for sticking with us and supporting your students at home. The last couple of months have not been easy, but our awesome Corvallis staff rose to the challenge and navigated technology, distance learning, and did their best to support our students throughout the school closure. At this time, there have been no decisions made about what school will look like in August when we are scheduled to return. Please be on the lookout for district communications about the 20-21 school year.

Many of your students have instructional materials at home such as library books, classroom library books, and other school materials. (Chromebooks do not need to be returned at this time unless your student will not be returning to a San Lorenzo Unified school next year.) Additionally, many students have items that were left at school due to the school closure. Below is the Corvallis material drop-off/pick-up schedule. Corvallis staff will be present at the times and is also a good time to say goodbye to our staff for the summer.

Important Details:

  • Please place a sign with the student last name, first name(s), and teacher name(s) inside the driver’s side windshield. (See example below)
  • This will be a drive-through event, please do not leave your vehicles.
  • Please practice social-distancing
  • Masks required for all adults in the cars

Thursday, June 4 – TK-1st (8:30 – 11:30)

Thursday, June 4 – 2nd – 3rd (12:00 – 3:00)

Friday, June 5 – 4th/Open To All (8:30 – 11:30)

Friday, June 5 – 5th Grade (12:00 – 3:00)

Monday, June 8 - Last Call Pick Up/Open To All (11:00 - 1:00)

Note: If you have more than one student at Corvallis, you are welcome to come by for each child’s assigned time. If you would like to make only one trip to Corvallis, please show up at the oldest child’s scheduled time. (For example, I have a Kindergartner and a 3rd grader, I would go at the 3rd grade time).

Report Cards: Report cards will not be physically distributed, but will be made accessed via the Aeries Portal.

Yearbooks: I have been informed by the PTA that yearbooks will not be ready by the end of school this year. The PTA is hoping to get them distributed as soon as possible. Please contact the Corvallis PTA at [email protected] for specific questions/concerns.

All for One, One for All

Go Wildcats!
